Worst customer service EVER!! Don't open an account because if you ever need to cancel it, you won't be able to get hold of anyone to cancel it.

ReplyDeleteIf you purchase one, you have to rent the program that connects the scanner to the computer! The scanner is fabulous, but having to rent the program is a bummer. It sucks! Yes, I said "it sucks! Not only that, but it is impossible to get a live person on the phone to discuss this issue, and the web page doesn't work!
When I bought my scanner, a disk with the program came with it. The disk is hiding somewhere in my office, so I though I could just download the program. Right? No, WRONG! You have to rent the program, and the basic only works for a few scanned items. Immediately, you have to upgrade. Wow! So bad.
So, if anyone reading this has a copy of that Neat disk and is willing to loan it to me, please do.
I have the same problem. I was happy with the system until it suddenly didn’t open. In dealing with “neat assistance” I lost the application and it got replaced with “neat scanner driver”. However that does not open my neat data files. So if you if you get your system back on line, I would appreciate a hint on how you did it. In advance, my appreciation.
